Hernando A'Fair!

This past weekend was the Hernando A'Fair that I have been preparing for the past few months. The little flea market I did in the fall was NOTHING compared to this craft fair. I have always ran the 5K in the morning then walked around afterwards and I always have said to myself, I need to do this one day. And this weekend I did! I sold many picture frames and canvases. I also took a few orders. A friend of mine sold her handmade jewelry. Here is our booth!

Baby shower!

 I recently helped out with a baby shower for a co-worker of mine. For the shower I created my first diaper cake and watermelon crib.

         

 I LOVED how the cake turned out! I am dying to help out with another shower or someone to order one! It was fun to make!

Now this crib. Carving a watermelon is alot harder to deal with than I imaged. It was definitely a learning experience. She didn't turn out as perfect as the photo on pinterest, but hey she is still a cutie! :)

I also was asked to make a painting for the baby's room. And she loved it! :)

April/May orders!

 I have been SUPER busy getting ready for the Hernando A'Fair on May 19! Working on frames and paintings constantly to make sure I have a good vareity. On top of the A'fair I have had orders coming in almost every week. Here are a few I've completed! I hope you enjoy!

I made the first Owl plaque for a friend, and immediately after I posted on facebook, I had another order. Looks like I need to make a few more. :)

This is just an updated photo of a jewelry hanger I made for myself. It is most useful and still my favorite craft yet! It holds almost every piece of jewelry I have (rings and earing studs are in a seperate container). I highly recommend making one of these. It was fairly simple and I love it!

Wedding Gifts

I have had 3 more orders for a wedding/anniversary gift since my last posts. Both were the family name along with the wedding date. Each one was very please with the turn out.

This one was a special request for my MIL and her new hubby that live in Texas :)

A-DORABLE detailed teacher letters!

A friend of mine wanted to get her son's teachers a special gift for teacher appreciation, and I think she made an awesome request! These letters took me a good bit of time to complete and I am so glad I did. They turned out great! I know her teachers had a smile on their faces! :)

Southaven Flea Market

I decided to have my very first booth sale this weekend! I was so excited preparing for this market. Painting, glueing, and adding price tags made me smile because I was able to do something I absolutely LOVE doing, while providing opportunities for people to pick up cute, cheap Christmas gifts. These are a few photos from the weekend, along some just SOME of the frames and paintings I had to offer. I appreciate everyone who came out!
